In Brooklyn, courts fill up on weekday evenings and weekend mornings, especially in spring and fall, so a reservation or an early start avoids the wait. Club memberships across New York range from a few hundred dollars a year at community swim-and-tennis clubs to initiation fees and monthly dues at full country clubs, and many clubs offer summer or trial memberships. Guests are usually welcome when accompanied by a member, and non-members can often book lessons, clinics or court time at commercial centers. Check the listing for surface, lighting, indoor courts, reservation rules and whether pickleball lines share the courts, then call ahead on holidays, when hours change.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 amโ8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (718) 722-3213. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is nycgovparks.org, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Brooklyn peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The courts are great and well maintained. Sign up starts at 6AM๐ซฃ. The water fountains and restrooms are parallel and convenient. Street parking was pretty good. Lots of open air and great views. Nice neighborhood and community. Highly recommend, sign up early and have a Lovely Dayโค๏ธ

The courts aren't in good condition but the real problem is the sign up situation where there's supposedly a system but really it's just random people - not a parks dept employee or anything - who put up an unauthorized sheet with names prefilled and then we have to abide by it. I understand that getting a court in NYC is hard but this is particularly underhanded

Theyโre very cracked and the westernmost one is borderline dangerous with its cracks. Iโm tolerant of bad courts butโฆ yikes. Itโs also usually booked at 8am for the whole day. One star for convenience though.

The tennis courts are totally fine, but cracked and faded. Theyโre not nice or special - but just adequate and thatโs totally cool with me. 2 courts, one with a bench. Reserving courts is painful. Someday maybe weโll get the internet but itโs a ~6am paper list. NOTE: I arrived at 5:50am flat on Saturday in April and every slot from 8am-1pm was filled, plus a few after. I heard there may be some kind of โcommitteeโ that gets to put names in night before, but that sounds lame and I hope itโs not true. So itโs just to say: get there earlier than you want if you want a time you want. By 9am there were no spots. BUT silver lining: if you like playing against a wall as an alternative, thereโs ~5 walls to hit agains right across the street (maybe same park). Itโs close to freeway exit and so thereโs a lot of cars and trucks. Can be a little windy. Lots of space and play areas for kids otherwise. AND bathrooms! (Maybe not in the winter though) (Snow pics are from winter obv)
